Alyssa studied acting in Philadelphia and New York before relocating to Portland, where she now resides. She discovered her love for the stage when she took the mic at her uncle’s wedding reception at three years old and triumphantly sang her ABC’s. She has since gravitated to more mature material but held on to her passion for music and storytelling. Her love for bringing stories to life has taken her on a lot of adventures on stage, in front of and behind the camera.

At home, she can be found curled up in a flannel pouring over a script; always looking for those juicy contradictions in her characters. When she isn’t smirking at the camera she is supporting her friends and fellow artists, cooking, camping and finding new ways to challenge herself. She faces everything in the city equipped with a sense of humor, directness and some dangerous curves.
